At VIBI Trip, we provide high-performance AI travel planning while prioritizing the security and transparent use of your data. This policy explains how your information is handled across our platform.

1. Information We Collect & Why

We collect information categorized as follows to deliver and improve our services:

  • Account Identifiers: Email address and transaction identifiers provided by our payment processor to verify your purchase.

  • Access Credentials: Unique security tokens and verified email credentials to protect your credit balance.

  • Service Execution Data: For every AI "run" or itinerary generation, we record the email, destination, date requested, travel dates, and logistical preferences. Purpose: This data is retained for Audit and Dispute Resolution (to verify credit usage) and for Internal Analytics to improve our AI's performance and service relevance.

  • Special Categories (Health/Dietary): You may voluntarily provide dietary or accessibility needs. We process this in real-time to customize your guide; we do not store this sensitive data in our permanent Master Ledger.

2. Advertising, Cookies & Tracking

To reach new travelers and improve our site experience, we utilize several third-party tracking and advertising tools:

  • Google Analytics: We use this to evaluate user interactions. Data is typically anonymized and helps us understand site traffic and performance.

  • Google AdSense: We serve third-party ads. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You may opt out at Google Ads Settings.

  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Plugins: We use social media plugins and tracking pixels. These tools allow Meta to track your activity across websites to serve targeted advertisements and measure ad effectiveness. You can manage your ad preferences within your Facebook or Instagram profile settings.

3. Categories of Third-Party Processors

We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary:

  • Payment Processors: To securely handle transactions via encrypted external links.

  • Automation & Cloud Storage: To maintain our "Master Ledger," host our platform, and deliver generated HTML emails.

  • AI Processing Platforms: To facilitate the chat interface and logic used to build your guides.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Active Sessions: Access records in our active gateway are deleted after 6 weeks of inactivity.

  • Generated Files: Generated HTML itineraries and associated data are deleted 6 months after creation.

  • Audit Ledger: Your email, credit balance, and record of "runs" (destinations/dates) are retained to prevent fraud, resolve credit disputes, and perform service analytics.

  • AI Chat Logs: Conversation logs within our AI interface persist until manually cleared during our periodic workspace maintenance.

5. Your Rights & Deletion Requests

You may request access to or permanent deletion of your data at any time. Upon a verified request to support@vibitravel.com, we will manually purge your records from our ledger, active gateway, storage, and chat history within 30 days.

6. GDPR Compliance (For EEA, UK, and Swiss Users)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or Switzerland, you are granted specific rights regarding your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Legal Basis for Processing: We process your personal data under the following legal bases: your consent, the performance of a contract (delivering your purchased itineraries), compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate business interests (improving our service and preventing fraud).

  • Your Data Rights: You have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data (the "Right to be Forgotten"). You also hold the right to object to or request the restriction of processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.

  • Exercising Your Rights: To exercise any of these rights, please email support@vibitravel.com. If you believe your data privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

7. International Data Transfers

Our service is operated in the United States. By using our services, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your home country.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we discover we have collected information from a minor without parental consent, we will delete it immediately.

9. Security

We employ technical safeguards, including encryption and tokenized access. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your unique access link. Our system requires Email Verification for every session to ensure that even if a link is shared, only the authorized owner can utilize purchased credits.
